Youth Ministries
ASYLUM
Don't let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your creator (Ecclesiastes 12:1)
Our name, A.S.Y.L.U.M. - Actively Serving Youth of Lanier United Methodist Church - defines who we are as a group. The word ASYLUM means a safe sanctuary. This is a place where youth can come, be themselves, grow in their faith walk, have a lot of fun, and serve others. ASYLUM Youth Ministry is for students 6th grade through high school and meets Sunday mornings from 9 till 10:45 at the church. We share breakfast, play a game, and grow in our faith through worship and study. The first Sunday of each month we will meet from 4-6 p.m. Join us!

The United Methodist Men at Lanier UMC meet monthly to fulfill the mission of the North Georgia United Methodist Men's Mission. That mission is:
"To support spiritual growth among men, helping men to mature as disciples as they encourage spiritual formation in others."
Our meetings start with 30 minutes of fellowship over breakfast prepared by one of the men. Breakfast is followed by a formal meeting structured of reviewing old and new business directly related to the fulfillment of our mission. All men are welcome and encouraged to join us.
