Purpose Filled Women of God - 1 Peter 4:8-11

Lanier Methodist Women (LMW) is a community of women whose purpose is to know and trust God; to connect women of all ages, supporting each other spiritually and personally; to provide opportunities for growth and fellowship; and, serving our church, community, and Christian sisters worldwide. We meet the 4th Saturday (April 25, 2026) of the month at 10 AM for brunch and spiritual growth in Dean Hall (unless otherwise communicated). We also have special events throughout the year.

Youth Ministries

The Gathering — A place to grow and explore our faith journey together. We meet Sunday mornings from 9:00–10:45 a.m. in the Holy Cow Room in Dean Hall. Each week includes breakfast, games, worship, and faith-filled study as we grow together. On the first Sunday of each month, we also gather from 4:00–6:00 p.m. for a special evening of connection and fellowship.

We strive to be a welcoming place where youth are accepted as they are, encouraged to grow in their faith, have a lot of fun, and serve others. Our Youth Ministry is open to students in 6th grade through high school.

2nd Saturday of the Month at 8:00 AM

(Some months vary, be sure to check with the church office)

The United Methodist Men at Lanier UMC meet monthly to fulfill the mission of the North Georgia United Methodist Men's Mission. That mission is:

"To support spiritual growth among men, helping men to mature as disciples as they encourage spiritual formation in others."

Our meetings start with 30 minutes of fellowship over breakfast prepared by one of the men. Breakfast is followed by a formal meeting structured of reviewing old and new business directly related to the fulfillment of our mission. All men are welcome and encouraged to join us.

Every Sunday at 7:00 PM

Come join us for "Be the Light" Vacation Bible School, June 1-4! VBS will be held 9:00-12:00 p.m. It will be a week full of fun, music, games, crafts, snacks, and exciting Bible adventures. Vacation Bible School is for all children ages 5 to 5th grade. Please use the link below to register your child.

Please note we will have a VBS Celebration at 12:00 noon in the Sanctuary on June 4, and on Sunday, June 7 at our 11:00 a.m. worship service. Please arrive by 10:30 a.m. to practice our songs.
