Don't let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your creator (Ecclesiastes 12:1)
Our name, A.S.Y.L.U.M. - Actively Serving Youth of Lanier United Methodist Church - defines who we are as a group. The word ASYLUM means a safe sanctuary. This is a place where kids can come, be themselves, grow in their faith walk, have a lot of fun, and serve others. ASYLUM Youth Ministry is for students 6th grade through high school and meets Sunday evenings from 5 till 7 in Modular 1 at the church. We share a meal, play a game, and grow in our faith through worship and study. Join us!

This year’s theme is Shipwrecked.
At Shipwrecked, kids discover that Jesus rescues them!
Kids participate in memorable Bible learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory tags to remind them of God’s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Sail Away Sendoff that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.
Shipwrecked is for children ages 4 (by September 1, 2018) through 5th grade. Register now to ensure a spot for your child.
